The "4x5 American" series is Ted's personal work-in-progress. Here, he's gone fully old school. He uses a 4x5 Calumet camera to patiently explore people and places in the Midwest, Pacific NW, and the Everglades in Florida. Ted is especially drawn to people in times of transition (starting a new life, coping with illness, etc) and places which are slowly crumbling as they return to nature.
